Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how YKB Design & Construction ("YKB," "we," "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit ykbdesign.com (the "Site") or contact us through it.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out our contact form, call or email us, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, phone number, email address, street address, city and state, and details about your project.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our Site and its hosting platform (Squarespace) automatically collect basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring website and the date and time of your visit. This is done with cookies and similar technologies.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiry and provide estimates, consultations and services
  • To schedule and manage projects and communicate with you about them
  • To understand how visitors use the Site and improve it
  • To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights

We do not sell your personal information.

How we share your information

We share personal information only as needed to run our business:

  • Service providers that help us operate the Site and our business, such as our website host (Squarespace), email and scheduling tools. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal reasons, when required by law or to protect our rights, our customers or others.
  • Business transfers, if our business is sold or reorganized.

Cookies and analytics

The Site uses cookies set by Squarespace for site functionality and visitor analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the Site may not work properly without them. The Site may also include links or embedded content from third parties such as Instagram, Facebook and Google Maps, which may collect information under their own privacy policies.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. There is no common standard for how websites should respond to these signals, and the Site does not currently respond to them.

Your choices

You may ask us to review, correct or delete the personal information you have given us by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Data security and retention

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law.

Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above.
