Landscape Design & Construction in San Diego
YKB Design & Construction designs and builds backyards and front yards across San Diego County. We're a licensed and insured California contractor (CSLB #1102675, B – General Building and C-27 – Landscaping), led by founder Kobi Bardugo. You work with one team from the first sketch to the last plant. We show you the design in 3D first, so you know exactly what you're getting before anything is built.

Our process
- Free consultation. We visit, listen to how you want to use the space, and look at sun, soil and drainage.
- 3D design. You see the finished yard before we start, and we adjust it until it's right.
- Proposal. A clear scope and price for the work.
- Build. Our crew handles construction, irrigation and planting.
- Final walkthrough. We walk the project with you to make sure everything is how you wanted it.
Why clients choose YKB
- Plant knowledge, not just construction. Kobi has a background in botanical and marine sciences and is a certified Master Gardener. He also worked at plant nurseries in New York and San Diego. We choose plants that will thrive in your yard's real conditions.
- Design and build under one roof. The people who design your yard are the people who build it.
- Water-wise by default. Drought-tolerant plants and efficient irrigation suited to San Diego's climate.
- Licensed and insured. CSLB #1102675 (B, C-27). You can verify the license on the CSLB website.
